Glad you enjoyed it! This is one of my favorites as well. I find it quite intriguing that two people not only kept the same active races throughout the entire match, but also finished first and second. Made me go glance at my plays and, sure enough, through seven games (and 20 players in those seven games), not a single player in any of the games I've played has ever gone from start to finish with a single race. In fact, of the 20 players, only three had just two races, most had at least three races and often four. Furthermore, the person with the least amount of races used in a game has only won 1 of the 7 games I've played. Interesting!

My strategy was to intentionally leave single, vulnerable Pygmies without any Fortifications as bait for other players and hope that the die rolls were in my favor to get back more Pygmies than I'd lose. Needless to say, fortune smiled upon me.

But don't ask me how the Bivouacking Wizards managed to stay for the whole game and end only one point behind me. They were on the other side of the small world and I had absolutely no interaction with them until the very last turn in which I invaded one of their territories, which would prove to make the difference.
